The Baker

I smell treats baking as I arrive at a dainty bakery.
Filled pastry, topped tarts, and iced cakes sit in the display.
In sweet aroma and delicate colors a mastermind is hidden.
Behind the walls that complete the place,
Kneading freshly flowered dough,
Tempering perfectly warmed chocolate,
And decorating newly baked pastries,
The baker, an artist, is at work.
Creations made with a short timeline of existence,
I admire them and their creator with none other than a bite.
