We Shall Overcome
God sees my pain
But all my work is not in vain
The tears from my eyes will remain
But I will always have a tunnel to drain
At night it's the worse
I feel like my heart is about to burst
As I think about my grandmother and the memories we shared
Her and I were one significant pair
I just wish we had one more breath of fresh air
Rejoicing in heaven together at last
Soon all of this will be in the past
And I pray that time comes fast
And no more will i have to gast.
