what We Take For Granted

Those who train
hard in the military
everyday,
those are the ones
we take for granted.
The men and women
who lay their lives
on the line for ours
in battle,
those are the ones
we take for granted.
Those who are challenged
everyday,
mentally and physically,
those are the ones
we take for granted.
Those who march,
stand at attention,
and drill,
those are the ones
we take for granted.
Those who live through
the battle,
and those who die,
Those are the ones we take for granted.
