Small Black Frame
My whole life
The same house
The same halls
On the wall
Tucked away from sight
A small black frame
Inside a sheet
I often see
But never stop to view
Today was different --
In the hall
I read
A part of a poem
On the subject of books
Written by Emily Dickinson
Tucked away in a corner
Hidden from the passive eye
A beautiful poem in a small black frame.
