Mr. Schmidt taught me that there is time for play and time for work
Sensei Tanner taught me that no matter what, don't give up on yourself, your dreams, your hopes, anything
Sensei Nicklin taught me that the reward is at the end of the road
Sensei Kris taught me to be tough and take the punches
My mom taught me to fight the wars that need to be fought
My dad taught me to think practically

It doesn't matter what we have or how much we have,
It's about how much we have in our hearts,
And that alone is worth living for

What inspired me was the people that I meet. Some of the people listed I see every day and it took me a while to learn their lesson. Others I only had a short while with them, but I learned their lesson faster. For me, I personally believe that everyone we meet has an unspoken lesson for us to learn, it's only if we are willing to listen, then we can hear it.
