Love for You
Love for You
F*** love, f*** romance
I really don't understand
how everyone else got it, yet I don't even stand a chance
F*** you and your beauty, and how you said I had a chance
Had me feeling like I finally became a man
Had me wrapped around finger, suffocated by your trance
Made me turn from rock,
to putty in your hands.
F*** you for not loving me for who I am
But I still love you,
but I act like I don't care
I don't want you to be aware,
of how you intoxicated me and left me bare
Calmed the tempest I possessed
and then left like you didn't care
But you want to say your sorry like, giving me that heart-filled stare
Yet I know you intended to leave like you were never there
Maybe it's my fault,
I loved your beauty,
I loved your voice,
I loved your hair,
I loved your body,
Notice the pattern?
I laugh at others for this type of “love”,
yet I realize maybe this was a crush
Maybe I was just in love with the rush,
Maybe it was just the lust for your touch
So now I realize what I call love for you isn't true,
Maybe cause I never truly had
Love for You.
