Purple
It glows purple, at least
It does for now anyway
Not that it really matters
I won't be under it, No
I never will
It's funny, really, that I–
I no longer exist
I was home for a while
But then, I don't know
I was invisible
I was then too, you know
But not entirely for some
They saw the small things
But then they grew up
And left me here
It’s not like it's bad
Only mildly unbearable
That solitary confinement
It is a feeling of comfort–
That’s if you wanted it
But that stage light
It is different, so strange
Illuminating all the good
Under that enhancing purple
Leaving the bad in the dark
