My Turn
wander the cold winter streets like its not 11 at night
shes probably worried sick because its 11 at night
if she lost me i think she’d lose herself
never worried about her well being always more bout my health
the cracks on the sidewalk I always try to avoid
she done already broke her back raising 2 men from boys
tears slide down my cheek as my shaking legs become weak
living off child support and a check every week
drop to my knees still avoiding that grassy crack
im going to give you the world ma
time for me to break my back

My mother because she is always bending and breaking her back for me and I can't have her do that so I have to start breaking mine for her.
