A Father
A father. A son. A man with a gun.
He that fights
For your safety and rights
Where he may stand
Could be his grave to be marked in sand
He writes his final goodbyes
As the plane flies
For his country for her country
For our country
Our fate rests on his back
As the world is painted black
The darkness succumbs him
The smoke he runs in
His eyes his hands his feet
That is what made my mother and me
The second and third generation
A family ripped from salvation
Sr. and son
The war has begun
