Suffocating "Love"
You said you'd stop
That I wouldn't be hit
But then you did it again
And I learned that monsters don't sit
You took my love
Completely wrecked it
You used me again and again
And I always took the hit
I bled my sorrow
Through my skin
Let it wash over me
Was it a sin?
My tears have dried
Under the bag over my head
For no one sees me
When I yell, my face red
I asked for love
You kicked me down the stairs
I asked for peace
You locked me in your evil lair
My life is worth it
It is important
But then I ask
Do I live a life where I am just a participant?
