Queen
Queen to the wind
she dissolved
gaining much skin
and all the snow fell
abandoning her cheeks
ugly eyes
beg for some foresight
her mind was a prophecy
whispered in back rooms
sunlit with old talk
simple desires beckon thoughts ---
I felt my body leaving me
she left my veins howling
for a rich surrender
oxygen is my lover
and the transformation is complete :
I am the ghost that haunts me.
