You are my inspiration
The truck behind my plow
Whenever I need advice I come to see you
Always in recliner watching tv
Or should I say the tv is watching you

You are one of the two men who inspire me most
You inspire me to do what I love
No matter who tells me different
I always will hear your gentle voice telling me
“all good things come to those who work for them”

It always brings a smile to my face when I come to see you,
In your jean bibs and miscellaneous different t-shirts,
And your mangy beard
Relaxing in your recliner

You have helped me with my business more times than I can count
From giving me your accounts,
To riding with me in the plow truck teaching me how to plow,
To just giving me advice when I need it

Though we haven't always been as close as we are now
Those short two years ago
when i said i wanted to start a business
has brought us closer than we ever were

However it hasn't always been about business
I come over a lot just to BS with you like your one of the “guys”
About my job building garages,
The farm,
And just life in general,
I don’t see you as my grandpa anymore
I see you as my best friend

But Grandpa to you, my best friend, I owe you a big thank you,
A thank you for teaching me how to plow,
Giving me advice on trucks,
Giving me advice on my business
And giving me advice on just life in general
And for being the truck behind my plow
To you I owe the biggest thank you of all
For just being you
