All of Man Gathered and Decided
All of man gathered and decided
At the dawn of each new day,
All will chant into the sky,
We are humans
We are humans
We are humans
we are humans. . .
For years, these words were said.
But upon each utterance,
The sacredness of the words
Was washed away, silenced,
Like a power generator
Illuminating a home on a stormy evening
Somewhere,
Its running note of power
Drowned in the ears of the sheltered,
Lost into the frames, shutters, and fabrics,
By familiarity, silenced.
