The Hidden Things
  A cold crisp fall
  The leaves brush by
  Orange and yellow
  Red and brown
  All mixing together with others
Forming a whirl of shapes and colors
  Spinning on
  And on
  Caught in the draft
In the corner of a building
  Leaves try to run
A cold wind blows them back
  Red and orange bricks
  Smashing leaves
  Ripping, Tearing
  The wind relentlessly pummelling
  Then...
  Stillness, Silence
  The leaves float down
  Torn, Broken
  To form, once again
  A beautiful pile of colors
  Orange and yellow
  Red and brown
Showing no sign of wear
