I Wonder
I wonder what it’s like to be a caterpillar,
Diligently inching up a tree.
I wonder what it’s like to be a dolphin,
Joyfully bursting out of the waves.
I wonder what it’s like to be a tiger,
Silently creeping through the jungle.
I wonder what it’s like to be a horse,
Joyfully galloping through the meadow.
But for now,
I’ll just have to be a little boy,
Wondering what it’s like,
To be a little caterpillar.

Considering that I wrote this at about 10:30 at night on Valentine's Day, I think it came out pretty well.
