Eternity
Eternal love
is unbeknownst to the human condition.
For it is impossible to rendition
and undying love of maximally great fruition,
yet deep we are born with an intuition
to seek for such a disposition.
So where can we find such a thing?
One cannot find it in a human being.
One cannot find it in a wedding ring
For the vows that we sing
Only last unto death.
For the only being to suffice
Is that Who reigns in eternal might
The one who extinguishes our plight
Of seeking eternal life.
And He who does so
is Christ.
