Look Up
Do not stare at the ground
With your eyes cast down
What lies there for you?
In the cracks in the ground
There may sprout a flower
But you musn't confine yourself
To such limitation
Look up, my friend
See the blue in the sky?
The trees swaying in the breeze?
The birds singing sweetly to one another?
There is so much beauty above and beyond
Too gorgeous to miss
Or take for granted
Do not make that mistake,
With the dirtied walkway
Above the footprints of neighbors
There are undiscovered treasure
Waiting to be found
By any and every dreamer
Who looked up
