Love and You Alone
Love gathers you up in his arms,
and spins you around, laughing with the joy of seeing you.
Love lets you see him cry,
you make him feel safe, so it is you;
You and you alone.
Love rubs under your eyes,
and scolds you for not sleeping
in a soft voice, one he uses only for you;
You and you alone.

I think that love, as an emotion, is a very beautiful and simple thing, different for everybody. This poem is what it is for me, and I hope that other people can connect to it.
