i hear our future singing

i hear our future singing to us
the sound of freedom
of a bird chirping a melancholy symphony
we enter this new future woefully
taking chances daringly
a light
shining bright,
a white light
the limelight
our future is singing our praises,
raising a glass to stresses, and messes
the essence
of our childhoods softly whisper to us
and our future is singing a melodic melody.
