Walking atop tiny grains
Sand encrusted feet sinking in
Leaving my memories
In the sand.
Footprints erased by cool, foaming water
Ridding the sand of any remembrance of me.
Tiny trickles float over my toes
Removing the clingy tan sand
Cleansing and refreshing…
Allowing new memories to form.
