Dreams vs. Reality
Dreams:
I’d swoop you up in my arms and cover you in kisses. Illl carry you home, no matter how much you complain. I’ll take you to the bookstore, where in the smell of books, surrounded by words. I’ll put one of my verses in your heart
Reality:
You’ll smile at me across the room as we make faces at each other. I’ll laugh st your joke (even if it wasn’t funny). You’ll hit me for making a bad pun (even if I thought I was a knee slapper). And when you’re worried/scared/stressed, you’ll grab my arm as we walk as I anchor you to the ground
