Teacher says to me
"Write about the Fall" and so,
this is what i wrote:

Once upon a fall
morning, the bright sun woke me
"Welcome to Today"

Leaves fall from the trees
Twirling, dancing as they fall,
I want to dance too.

Could a leaf, for once
Be just a leaf, Not posses
Some deeper meaning?

The author's comments:
the final haiku in this series was inspired by all the other Autumn poems I've ever read. The leaves always had some deep symbolic meaning, and here is my take on it.
