Butterfly

The butterfly sits
On the yellow buttercup
Basking in the sun
It flutters its wings
Fly butterfly, fly be free
Go with the others
He soars in the air
Floating around lazily
Making many loops
Where will he go now?
To find a new buttercup
I have no idea
Where will he go to?
Who will he meet and see there,
Other butterflies?
No, he sits back down
Where would he go anyways?
I shall never know
I will never know
I am not a butterfly
I won’t ever be
The butterfly sits
On the yellow buttercup
Basking in the sun
