3 days together.

Relaxing on beach
While Maja’s singing out loud
Near the candy shop.

Licking ice cream cones
Reminding us of our past
After Shrine of Pine.

Starts to get dark out.
We release the floating ball,
Soars into the sky.

We set out to play.
Dark, empty, nowhere to hide,
We’re playing Sardines.

Hanging out in loft
Playing Michigan Rummy.
We love Spy Alley.

Warm, sunny, outside
Laying out on the hot dock
While we play with Ike.

It’s time to cool off
We jump off the trampoline
And dive off platform.

Boat rides relax us.
Maja and I dare to tube.
Others are chickens.

Crazy, we now know
Tubing behind paddleboat,
Surprise is coming.


Lightest in the front
And three in the back, mistake.
Starts tipping backward.

Losing our towels
“Daddy!” was the last we heard.
Splash! We hit the lake.
