Spring Time
Birds are chirping now
The leaves begin to blossom
Love is in the air.
The sun is warmer
The grass greener than ever
Breezes flow together.
The ping of the bat
The smell of the brown dirt field
The bases, clean, white.
The sky is so blue
Streaks of white flow through it
Blue turns to soft black.
Water is still cool.
My body yearns to enter
The ripples flow away.
