Waiting
It appears the world
Has long since dissapeared
In the veil of fog.
I stand currently
On the final piece of earth
In the universe.
I am so alone
In this misty world of mine
The silence is still
But I remember
The old world hidden by fog
So I keep waiting
Waiting for the rain
Or snow, or wind, or sleeting
To wash the veil away.
But until that time
I will stand here patiently
And wait for the world.
