Trapped in School
Each day I’m trapped
Completely surrounded now
There is no way out
These walls corner me in
There never is an escape
And I can’t take it
I’m tired of this
I can’t take it any longer
I need to get out
I am forced to go
Each and every day except two
So early in the morning
The halls are crowded
They’re filled with students and staff
And maybe a principle too
Everyone has books
And bags and backpacks too
Their lockers are filled
When the first bell rings,
Every person rushes off
To the class that’s next
And when the day’s over
The halls are crowded once again
But then they are empty.
