A Pawn Of The Game
Don’t take me away
From the place I know and love
There is nothing else
Pure evil you are
Not a soul nor conscience
A pawn of the game
You don’t question why
Why you do the things you do
Another’s puppet
Do I bother run
I know you will find me there
The one place that’s mine
I will come, not cry
You can not take my knowledge
Of things you know not
Things you should learn
To turn right when they turn left
One’s own decision
How am I different?
From you, or even him?
That is the question
Please find the answer
When you do, just think of me
And all the others
Those lives you’ve taken
The souls you buried away
Go ahead, take me
I will not cry once
I know I am stronger now
Now and forever
Unfortunately
You, you are not even close
To know all of the strength
All the strength it takes
Individuality
Go against the crowd
I will take this book
The one in which I write all
My accounts of life
Maybe you will read
And discover what you do
From my eyes alone
And see your portrait
Face, actions that define you
See you through my eyes
How do I see you
Not your own face or features
A faceless puppet
