Thanks Giving

Turkey stuffed and plump.
With mashed potatoes and gravy;
are being eaten by me.
Proud colors of fall;
The pilgrims day of Thanksgiving;
reduced to only food.
Birds are cooked today,
and my family congregates;
for a cheerful day.
The pilgrims gave thanks;
to Indians gratefully;
for help they received.
