Dreams of a Night Drifter
  As the rain stops
  the sun begins to shine
  smiling like a kid.
  Crisp and cool
  as the nighttime air
  Darkness is lurking.
  The Moon rises up
and the world begins to still
  sleep overtakes us.
  Although the dreams
  start to begin again
  the truth rises
  In sleep we dream
  in death we wake
  soundlessly we rise
  like falling leaves
  drifting towards the grass
  we lay softly
  We may break apart
  and crumble into pieces
  cracking at the end.
  But in peace we fall
  slowly fading away
  until life’s end.
  But as we fade
  we dare not forget ourselves
  along with others.
  For fading isn’t death
but a new life of hope
  and eternal bliss
  In which we bestow
  our life’s greatest morals
  and sacred creed
  Our code to live by
in which we don't take lightly
  or follow truly
  I wish happiness
  during this troublesome time
  and peace upon you all
