The Sea and Me
When the wind blows east,
And time pauses to let free,
The high seas you’ll meet.
The sea can be calm,
Or it can take you in rough,
But, it’s part of me.
The sea and me sing,
For all the times that we meet,
Are nothing but glee.
But don’t you be fooled,
For the sea is a goddess,
And she is the queen.
Now the wind blows west,
And no one is seen to be,
Free and on the sea.
