Poem On The Holocaust
In darkness of the past,
A time of pain,
It didn’t last.
People suffered,
Lost their way,
In a world changed cold and gray.
Their voices silenced,
Hearts jump into fear,
Families torn,
Shedding many tears.
But from the ashes,
Hope slowly arose,
Bravery and love,
It still shows.
Remember them,
Their stories told,
In our hearts,
They’ll never grow old.
We stand for peace,
We stand for light,
In memory of darkness,
we shine bright,
like stars in the night.
