Just So You Know
Just so you know
it was me who fixed the writing on your car.
I stood outside when it was cold
and did something that I'd been told
not to do (in a round-about way).
When they said, "go straight home"
I stopped to fix a mistake.
And that was when you didn't love me.
Just so you know
I talked to her about you to see if maybe
I should try to encourage your relationship--
but you wouldn't like what I heard.
She's not interested in you in that way.
So there was never a hope of using me.
Girls win out every time.
So just keep pining after her.
See what good it does.
Just so you know
I'm this close to hating you.
