Growing Pains
I am not old enough to drive a car,
to vote for president or travel afar.
I am still to young for "mature things"
like expensive clothes & real diamond rings.
I am not yet ready to own a home,
to buy a dog or to go out all alone.
BUT I am old enough to do chores
and memorize textbooks, scriptures and more!
I am far to old for "childish play"
like running and yelling until my legs and throat give way.
And I'm perfectly ready to be responsible to choose;
my colleges and choices and accept every consequence too.
All that I know is that age 15 is terrible to be,
because I'm not an adult yet not a baby.
