The Spirit in me:
As I sit and watch I like what I see
The players awaken the fighting spirit in me
They shoot, they score
As the excitement radiates past every door
We win and my heart pumps
Speeding super fast as the player jumps
The ball bounces...
It sounds like a heart beat
Jump, shoot and score
Bouncing that ball across the floor
They shoot we score
Sitting, smiling at the other teams defeat
The game brings out that spirit in me.

I wrote this poem for my english class homework assignment, we had to write a basketball poem.Go Rams!
