Deadly Little Eyes
It all began
The month of May
You weren't on time
Or so they say
Though it was late
They had to know
That through the gates
You would not go
The night was long
The night was cold
But not one word
Could break the hold
Then you were born
And swept away
Our parents torn
They cried and prayed
Then a hard choice
They'd have to make
To let you go
Your life it'd take
Those big brown eyes
Which never saw
Never did rise
To see it all
