Hollow screams of distress
Why am I put to this test?
A lonely life is a horrible one
I’d rather take a gun and be done
But my head tells me different
There is something for me in my future so distant
Emotions can truly burn
Until you lose all of your concerns
Becoming stoic to stay alive
Must have no pain to survive
Entering the world alone and young
Breathing fear through both lungs
You need no ones assistance
Let earth know of your existence
Be your own man
Raise that dominant hand
Stand up and fight
Live your own life
