  I watch the red slide down my arms
  I cover up to prevent alarm
  I bury trust and hide myself
  I disguise my past and deny all help
  I reassure myself that i’m okay
  I withstand the words others say
  Foul breath lies among the truth
  Ammunition flies and lights the fuse
  I block the blows with slender walls
  I build up more as others fall
  I try to seize what’s been deprived
  I play my cards and risk my life
  It takes its time as hope deforms
  Another shard in a cloth that’s torn
  The last of faith dies with the bold
  I cry out above, please save my soul
