How Not To Say Goodbye
In my dorm, on my bed I ponder
Where the future will lead me, close to home or way over yonder
Leaving the people I love made me sick
But soon I will be farther i depict
And I cry and sit and wonder.
The time has come, my loved ones forced to congratulate
But fear sneaks up from behind and I yearn for a post date
They all say goodbye
And i still do not know how i will get by
Without my family I will die, and I cannot exaggerate.

Today I thought about my future, going to college, moving away, and it made me upset and anxious. I'm still young and I have years until then, but it is inevitable and I wanted readers to be able to relate to the feeling.
