I walk out on the sand

Looking at the waves expand

Listening to ocean waves

Wondering about the oceans caves

Feeling my hair whip around

With the wind making sound

I feel the ocean calling me

Like I have the key

The ocean embraces me

I feel calm and comforted

The ocean was calling me

I am a 13 year old girl named Kaylie. I wrote this poem about the beach and ocean because it is my happy place. I love every thing that is out there in the ocean and sand. This was a very inspiring poem to me.
