Stuck
Stuck standing solo
Not a person in sight
Not even a Jane Doe
the light wasn’t bright
Try to light a fire
Match wouldn’t light
Air felt drier
Wasn’t putting up a fight
In a room alone
No pen clicking
No whispers roam
No clocks ticking
Light lit life like
The light after a movie
It wasn’t a hike
And it wasn’t so groovy
People Played Poses
Like statues
Room encloses
I can feel my shoes
Anxiety Attack Achieved
Everything back to normal
I felt relieved
To me it was abnormal

I was inspired to write this piece from my own life. I wrote this after having an anxiety attack and it was the only thing on my mind.
