The Dangers of Isolationism
Being alone all the time tears away at the brain
Being alone can make anyone insane
The constant need to talk and tell your pain
Someone who listens and responds is all you need
The sound of silence can hurt your ears
Hearing your thoughts alone for years and years
I am alone and no one is near
I do not know what is fake and what’s real
Needing no one is not something someone does
Everybody needs someone to talk to and hug
Annoying sounds can be loud and vibrant
But I would hate to be alone in the sound of silence

In this piece, I just felt I wanted to represent people who are constantly alone and show how it can negatively affect someones life.
