What Being A Women Really Feels Like
All the king’s horses and all the king's men,
Watch me grow up and count to ten.
I grow beautiful and fair,
That’s when the men want into my hair.
Always saying I’m the northern wind,
I always have to say he’s just a friend.
Never know what to say,
First, it’s always just a hey.
Next, he wants into my bed,
Wants to know if I bleed red.
My only weapon is my word,
But who would ever believe the sad little girl?
Something doesn’t sit right,
He took my hand and said, “I can go to midnight”.
I don’t care how long or strong you are,
Just get out of my hair.
I don’t need your abuse,
Telling me I have no real use.
You’ve got an expiration date,
Stop trying to put me on a plate.
I’m not a plaything,
Stop calling me your baby.
We’re on fire,
You’re such a liar.
“It’ll be you and me forever”,
Stop saying we're together.
I don’t need the energy,
Stay away from me.
Pretty please?
I don’t need a hug or squeeze.
It’s always the same,
Never even asked for my name.
Just saw my lips,
And my perfect hips.
Then you knew you’ll never see that the girl from 8th year,
Doesn’t need you to buy her a beer.
Just leave the lamb alone,
And go your own.
Now women stand and fight!
And grab the dynamite!
Make sure they never see the day,
The boy who thought they got their way.
We will stand and fight,
Partying ‘til midnight.
No more men who will even think,
Of coming to tip your drink.
We will lay down and die,
Just to show you why.
Men can be dangerous,
And oblivious.
To the women, they take from harmony,
Only to want more and more constantly.
Don’t give up yet,
Stay brave one more minute.
Just see the way we are,
All women are fallen pieces of a star.

I tried to pinpoint what growing up in our world (Past, present, hopefully not the future) as a woman feels like. Not all men are bad, but it grows hard for a girl to believe that after being raped or drugged by one. Men have always had everything they need. Women are always left out of the picture. Dr. Suess a man who published works of fiction that children grow up thinking is a hero, cheated on his wife and made her commit suicide. But she's just a woman, so what does it matter? There are plenty of other similar stories, but there aren't enough pages on earth to describe the pain of these women.
