Mood Swings
I am moody
Which I’ve heard
Is just part of being a teenager
But what I don't understand
Is why my moods
Are so extreme
One second
I’m on top of the world
And everything is perfect
The next
My world is crashing down on me
I’m trying to hold it up
But the weight pushes down on my shoulders
It suffocates me
And yet i still carry it
And it just keeps getting heavier
And my arms keep getting weaker
Until i feel like I’m going to collapse
Then i do
And it starts all over again

This poem is about how extreme my mood swings can get, and how adults tell me its just "being a teenager"
