Garnet in my ring
You outshone like a garnet
You outshone like a garnet
I found you with a storm in my mind
Is red the only colour I could find?
To protect me from that storm
Get a garnet in my ring
You can be pink, green, orange too
Mostly red but not much blue
Never mind, I am a Blue Topaz
So get a garnet in my ring
My mind was stormed of whether this was love then
Yeah, It was love then
Your eyes took me to another world, I dunno when
But, I felt we'd go far till a ring
My heart was throbbing fast for long
Hark back to it, get a garnet in my ring
You made my circulation strong
Hark back to it, get a garnet in my ring
You outshone like a garnet (ooh, oh-oh)
You outshone like a garnet (ooh, oh-oh)
You outshone like a garnet
Hark back to it, get a garnet in my ring
You outshone like a garnet (ooh, oh-oh)
You outshone like a garnet (ooh, oh-oh)
You outshone like a garnet
Hark back to it, get a garnet in my ring
My blood flows, I was waiting
You made my heart never stop beating
I am your Blue Topaz so get one
Next to the garnet in my ring
Your orange hug and green embrace
And the pink smile in your face
And the redness, before you give it
Get a garnet in my ring
I knew you were the thunder in my brainstorm
Cause everything stopped when I was struck
My heart was throbbing fast for long
Hark back to it, get a garnet in my ring
You made my circulation strong
Hark back to it, get a garnet in my ring
You outshone like a garnet (ooh, oh-oh)
You outshone like a garnet (ooh, oh-oh)
You outshone like a garnet
Hark back to it, get a garnet in my ring
You outshone like a garnet (ooh, oh-oh)
You outshone like a garnet (ooh, oh-oh)
You outshone like a garnet
Hark back to it, get a garnet in my ring
Red to pink to orange (ooh, oh-oh)
To brown, to green, red again (ooh, oh-oh)
Stop changing your colours
I'm just a blue topaz
You're a precious garnet (ooh, oh-oh)
Get both in my ring
My heart was throbbing fast for long
Hark back to it, get a garnet in my ring
You made my circulation strong
Hark back to it, get a garnet in my ring
You outshone like a garnet (ooh, oh-oh)
You outshone like a garnet (ooh, oh-oh)
You outshone like a garnet (whoa-a-yeah)
Hark back to it, get a garnet in my ring
You outshone like a garnet (ooh, oh-oh)
You outshone like a garnet
You outshone like a garnet

i have a garnet talisman from my grandma and this reminded me of that. btw, my favourite gem/stone is opal.
@CaliFranceGurl648 asked me (actually challenged me) to write about my favourite gem/stone and voila, here it is...🤝🏻🤝🏻🤝🏻
I don't know exactly why, but I've loved Garnets ever since I got to know what they were and Well, Garnets are my favourite gems/stones in the whole wide world...💎💎💎
Well, I don't think many people have a favourite gem/stone and it would be strange for me to have Garnet as mine (I haven't revealed this to anyone before, I mean, no one has ever asked me such a thing before or created a situation for me to talk about Garnets 😛😛😛)...
About the image, there was no image of a garnet so I added a pomegranate because, as a matter of fact, the word “garnet” is originated from the Latin word granatus which means seed/grain and it is most likely a referred to pomegranate seeds especially because, some garnets resemble pomegranate seeds probably in colour, shape and even size...
(For those who would ask, well, this is for you...About the Blue Topaz 'getting a cameo' in a garnet poem, my birth stone is Blue Topaz...So yeah, it's my poem and it had to have a little something of me...🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻)
