Dark Matter
What if the grass was green and the-
trees grew from up above
What if the sky is falling and-
You have nobody to love
What does it matter?
What if the ones we love are-
Just people we fear the most
What if we give up on trying do we-
See each other as ghosts
What does it matter?
Why do we fight till we-
Both grow tired
Does anything matter?
Why do search for a outcome-
If neither desired
Does anything matter?
When will you come?
But then it’s “When will you go”
As if it even mattered.
When will you stay?
Every step away is another blow
It doesn’t even matter.
Where do you find your-
Solace in the nights
Does it matter?
Where is love when-
You turn off the lights
Does it matter?
I close my eyes and-
Dive into-
The dark matter.
