Invisible Stars
Wind in my hair the rain’s throwing darts at me
Hurricane’s got angry they know I’m not set free
From new world orders and palm trees
The city’s doing everything to make sure I don’t leave
And I’m just a particle in this place that walks through wind
But everything here always aligns to perfect in the end
I can’t fathom looking at you from California's eyes
When I’m gone you always put on that disguise
Don’t let the stars bleed
Don’t let that armour fall
Don’t change for the worse or even at all
Just stay the same
Freeze the picture frame
Till I come back we’ll be fine living separate lives
I love you
But I can’t keep chasing invisible stars
Suitcase in hand I’m yelling you never know
Still waiting for the breeze to blow
Over galaxies and the Milky Way
Waiting for life to tell me I’ll be okay
But is the sunset too pretty for me
Is the sky too tall for me to reach
I hate looking at you from California's eyes
Why did you ever let me say goodbye
I know I don’t say it much
But I like how those invisible stars shine
Stay the same
Freeze the frame
Don’t go away
