if we were meant to forget , we wouldn't have a memory
paralyzed with fear, im admitting i still need you hear
but i've got no way to tell what's right or wrong anymore
its so strange to think i knew you, that i honestly believed in you
so much innocent trust, although i know your not to blame
cause we honestly tried.
and darling , we were beautiful.
stars shifting weight, and you shifted from my side
nights of careless hearts grew heavy
and you showed no mercy
those things you found so intruiging drew you further away
ironic, how i dont recall the pain.
but i still remember light that emanated from you
how could anyone forget such radiance
i'll never forget.
