How Do They Go On
Lifeless, a body floating up
To sing amongst the doves
Doors have opened, lights have shown them in
So now why do we grieve,
To memories, it’s hard to conceive
Spirits have risen
All will begin
Just for them
But here on this dirt,
Life will Stall
Like a portrait hanging on a wall
Expression never moves, never changes
Frozen into time
Chorus
How do they go on
Living life like a song
Struggling through the bridges before us
But keep coming back to that comforting chorus
How does life catch up
To their world’s run so amok
And they always seek light of day
When they start to lose sight
