"I don't find it easy to write about happy [stuff]. You don't need a release when you're happy." --Adam Gontier

As she picks up the blue crayon
she knows just what to write.
She asks her mommy how to spell,
"Daddy, I love you".
A tear comes to her mother's eye
as she continues on to say,

"And I'm missing you
like God misses his angel
when he sends him out
to look after you.
When you're fighting out there
I'm praying for you here.
So, whatever you do,
don't send that angel home."

She draws an angel up in the corner
than sets the crayon down.
Her mom drops down on her knees
and puts her head in her hands.
She whispers out a couple words
and says, "how could I not pray?

When I'm missing him
like you miss your angel
when you send him out
to look after him?
When he's fighting out there
I should be praying for him here.
So whatever you do
don't bring that angel home."

We're missing them
like you miss your angels
when you send them out
to look out for them.
When they're fighting out there
we'll be praying back here.
So whatever you do
don't bring those angels home.

When he opens up his letter,
he starts to cry.
Then he bows down his head.
